RRMT Riding Plans

Maybe this can just be a rolling thread for RRMT. Without specific dates to expire.

Anyone else?, post up or PM me.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

The Wife and I may be heading up there on Saturday. I finally got her bike put back together and it would make for a good shake down ride.

It should be open now. It was closed for enduro prep, which the race was this past weekend.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

Great! Sounds like a pretty good group. Shall we say front gate at 8ish or meet for breakfast somewhere? ZuggZugg and I met at pastry place for a cup of joe and some meat pies, forget the name now. Off of I-35 right at exit for Hwy 82 towards Muenster.
I will up for some more aggressive riding in the morning. My wife may come up in afternoon, so as I wear out I can peel off and slow it down a bit for her.
Looking forward to it.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

I will probably bow out of the 8am meetup mainly because I don't want to get up at 5 to make that happen. I am usually out there by 9am, and pretty much tired out by 3 or 4pm. The end time depends on just how many miles of Bill's Woods I manage to get in.

And in case anyone wants to use this for planning any meet ups, you are more than welcome to copy the link and post it wherever you like.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

Now that it is not 100 degrees by 9 am I am perfectly happy meeting a bit later.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

I will shoot for the same. How about the Plan A area in the pic above where the small covered picnic tables are? I am in a metallic Dodge 2500 with an orange bike.
My cell coverage stops pretty much at the house/office but if anyone wants to try a text I am at two one 4 5 two 9 two 2 nine 1.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

It looks like I am out for this one. I have too many chores to catch up on, and Rachel has too much homework to get finished. Hopefully in two weeks I can get out there.

Bill: Sorry to see you're out. Hopefully we can meet up in a couple of weeks.

I'll be at RRMT 8 (ish). Silver Nissan Frontier hauling a KTM 300 xc-w.

If anyone wants to meet somewhere for breakfast, text me Eight-0-Six-4-Four-1-Five-8-One-8.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

It was another good day. My first time in Bill's Woods. I am whooped!! I can't imagine looping that area a few times for an enduro.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

Lulu7404, Blackdog, and I had a ride of epic proportion. Bill's Woods Rocks!
Thanks guys for letting me hang with y'all today. Hopefully we can do it again in a couple of weeks.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

I'm glad y'all had fun. As it turns out, I am getting to go ride after all. My riding buddy called me up and asked if I wanted to go for a quick 30-40 miler tomorrow so the bike is all loaded up and ready to go for an early start tomorrow.

Hopefully I can still get back out in a few weeks, and it will be a shakedown run for Rachel's bike.

Re: RRMT Riding Plans

That was a great ride. Like Brad said, I can't imagine doing multiple loops non-stop. Can't wait to get back out there. Sorry you couldn't make it on Sat. Bill, but at least you got to get out there, would have been a shame to waste that weather. Could not have been better.
