The family requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders who responded with a small contingent. To the PGR this is a mission. Once a request is made, a mission notice is sent out and riders respond as they are able. In this case there were about 4 riders present at the Funeral home and a few more than that at the grave site service. There was no procession for this particular funeral.

On this afternoon, the PGR was present at 3 different funerals that were happening almost simultaneously at DFW National Cemetery, and there was another one or two around the metroplex also.

It is entirely possible that he was trying to be responsible and had done all his drinking at home Sunday night, got up to go to work Monday morning feeling fine.
Was driving along and missed his turn and totally misjudged the two headlights on treys bike as being a car much further back.

You have a party and get good and drunk in the safety of your home, yet never realize that the next morning you are still over the bac limit.

No defending the guy just want to point out it could still be a really bad accident not the act of a cold blooded killer.
