FREE: 32 inch CRT TV
Can anyone use a nice 32 inch CRT TV set?
It's a Toshiba model 32AF62. I think it was a pretty nice set in its day (manufacture date is August 2002). I bought it used about 2 years ago when its predecessor TV died and I wasn't ready to change TV technology. I've been perfectly happy with it during that time. My Tivo just died, and it seems like that's reason enough to upgrade. Note the dimensions: Width - 34.5 in Depth - 22.6 in Height - 26.5 in Weight - 147 lbs It's upstairs, and it will probably take two strong bodies to get it down. I'm not sure whether I still have the remote. (Edit: I found the remote and the manual.) I'd rather give it away on TWT than sell it on Craigslist. If you're interested, send me a PM. Edit: I forgot to mention, I'm located in the far southwest suburbs of Houston. More info: Toshiba 32AF62 FST Pure 32-Inch Color Television features Toshiba's FST PURE Fine Pitch Flat Picture Tube to deliver increased viewing angle along with the enhanced picture linearity necessary to produce accurate life-like images and it features Invar Shadow Mask for enhanced color reproduction. It also includes Picture-In-Picture with a built in tuner so you won't have to miss out on the other ball game! Re: FREE: 32 inch CRT TV
This would be a great grab for someone who has a little one headed to college in the fall.

These beasts are heavy. I gave away a Sony FSCRT on the condition I wasn't going to load it.

Re: FREE: 32 inch CRT TV
I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that there's not a lot of interest. I'm always among the last to adopt new home entertainment technology, so if it's obsolete to me, it's obsolete to 99% of Americans.
While it might work well in a dorm room, I'd hate to have to haul it up three flights of stairs. These things are huge! |
