Re: ROLL THE BONES III:Mr2mch's Paved Pair A Dice...Saturday Morn & Afternoon Rides I

FROM TXjames:

[***WARNING!*** Prepare yourself for the following RTB3 routes. Beads, incense, and thai sticks are required to fully understand the meaning of these “directions”. Courtesy of Mr2Mch; the Tie-Dyed Tour Guide.]

Thankya James...

Paved BIGuns North - 222 miles
This route takes in FM51,FM1476 & 1496 three of the most tehnically changeling roads on the BIGuns rooster. FM1238s streetsweepers won't dis'nappoint. Most all the roads have lots o hillyness n some..sillyness, FM2491comes to mynd. Break zones...Morgan Mill FM1188 @ US281 under the Church's big ol Pave-villion. US67 Rest Stop on top near Chalk Mtn. Roll up to the Old Rock Church (Roll'nRock) near Cranfills Gap on CR4145 & the turnby Turnersville on FM182/FM217 junction before a Mrdash to Hamilton on 217 & 36.

Paved BIGuns North w/ Options 3 & 4 (217 miles)
Adds a couple of county road curvys, Both with good pavement...Just be in the cruise mode & watch for dust 'n pebbles (& Bam Bam). FM156 offers altarnate views while headed south from Morgan Mill. CR172/Loftin Rd & Bakers Crossing Rd both hug the Paluxy River winding all the way from Bluff Dale on US377 to Paluxy on FM51. (I'm gonna call your Bluff...Dale) ...Paluxy Hugger

Paved BIGuns West (243 miles)
The BIGuns western route still has plenty of technicalicity to it...just on a slightly bigger set o scales?. FM1476, FM1496 FM590 FM574 FM572 FM183 ...All with their own special (Hamilton *****'n) blender of curves n hills. Not as many interestin places to stop...just find your own scenic type localness & chill for a bit. In the end... Hamilton is a 20+ mile "trip" (?huh) on FM1241.

Paved BIGuns West, option 1 (160 miles)
The Shortened 160mi "trip". just takes in that same Techyloonacy of FM1476, FM1496, FM590 plus a few other stretches of ***fault like FM1702 & FM2486. Heads ya back to Hamilton on FM218 thru Indian Gap & "Pottsville" (!huh) to make room for other "excursions". (NOT A GIANT FORD SUV)
Paved BIGuns West, option 2 - 215 miles
Just a bit shorter. Most of the BIGuns western route but leavin off Grizzly Adamsville FM581, Izoro (w/o George Hamilton!! quitit) FM1690, Pearl (the beer ..or Janis??) FM183 & FM1241 (4 DEER in OHIO!! CSNY). The northern end of FM1047 makes up for some of that with it's bit o sillyness (& hillyness)..& the jig jog on FM221 up to "Pottsville" on FM218 is nice too. From there it's a "brief wizz" in to Hamilton.

BIGuns Ride Routes are geared toward the big ol Cruisers, Sport tourers & Tourers. Of course anyone who likes those type of roads will be at home on whatever they ride.

There will also be my usual Follow the Leader stuff...This time 2 shorter rides..Both on Saturday + My Friday Ribbin of Pavedness

Re: ROLL THE BONES III:Mr2mch's Paved Pair A Dice...Saturday Morn & Afternoon Rides I

I'm IN! I'll do Friday and Saturday.

This is the one I've been looking forward to. I've heard stories about following Rod, I'm up for the experience.

Adding another green Versys to the ride .

See you on Friday!

Out.

We've been expecting our next grandchild around the end of October.

On Monday my son told me the Doc said it should be around the 27th when the baby is born.
