Sorry for the late notice, but the it looks like the stars have aligned and I will be able to make this.

Anybody going from the cedar park/round rock/georgetown/austin area? I am thinking of something like this for a route to and for the return, follow mr2mch to waco and improvise the rest..

Re: Pie run II: Sam's Fairfield 2-25-17

Sorry guys, an unplanned emergency (Nothing serious) came up, and neither the wife or I can make it today. Hope to make the next one, was looking forward to seeing Mr2mch as it's been a long time.. Enjoy the ride and wrap up warm, it's still pretty fresh despite the sunshine!!

Glorious, but also chillier than the thermometer would indicate. It was a great ride (thanks, Leon, for leading), and lunch and company were terrific. But I'm now home, wrapped in a blanket, & sipping tea while I thaw out.

After helping myself to CFS, brisket, catfish, shrimp, hushpuppies, potatoes & gravy, & a tall slice of pie, I've exercised self control for the duration of the day. No snackies for me.
