Re: video of biker surviving crash

I'll give him a 9.7 on the dismount; he almost stayed completely on his feet when he landed.

Boy, he was P.O'd!!!!

Good thing he walked away. I thought he was going to jank that driver out of the car and go to town.

Re: video of biker surviving crash

hard to tell whose right of the way, but i think it was the Car's right of the way and the moto seemed to want to quickly cross the intersection and then make the left.

IMHO moto @ fault..

but Angels did their job

But if you watch you'll notice that other left-right traffic through that intersection didn't happen until well after the crash. Also, if it was his fault, why wasn't she at all upset?

After driving in many third world countries for many thousand miles i can related and inform you that the person usually in a bad mood, stubborn and thinking about something else @ FAULT, is usually the one to get more pissed, upset, raise the finger first and get in a fight and initiate the whole chaos wordly first as well.

speaking from personal experiences on that one.

Now if you look at the impact, on the small (probably not more then 1000cc car) she was shaken up and more or less in a state of shock.

Guys like that GUY i'm sure will tend to take it more easily in a crash like that compared to that lady, who could be sick, shy, extra polite, just plain soft spoken, or some one that was always taken care of inside their homes and not street smart, girls (majority) would react like how she did. Which is to be in a shock first and then clamly (still shaken up) get out of the car and look around.

to be she looks like if she was concerned about the rider.

can any one translate the lang?

Re: video of biker surviving crash

Looks to me like she ran a red light. No other cars were in the intersection until she plowed into him. Very lucky for him. After the wreck was over for a few moments, then cars from both sides started moving. I'd say she ran the light.

I'll bet her first words to him were "Wow, my cell phone is handy, shall I call for some help?"

Re: video of biker surviving crash

Reminds me of an incident I was in once where a young woman ran me off the road back in my bicycling days. I nearly rode it out in the grass (loop 360 in Austin, on the downhill from 183 next to the Arboretum) but eventually the front wheel hit a hole and over the bars I went, executing a very impressive somersault and landing on my feet. I was so pissed that I started yelling at the woman, who had pulled over and stopped to see if I was okay, bless her heart. She then sped off, apparently afraid of me. Can't blame her. After she left I found out my expensive Italian bike frame was bent. I probably could have gotten her insurance to pay for it if I hadn't lost my temper.
