Hello from Westside
Just wanted to introduce myself have been reading the site for awhile. Just got back into riding after many years, purchased a fjr recently. Looking forward to meeting up for a ride and maybe a trip. I'm retiring in a few months and will have lots of time to enjoy riding, looking forward to cooler weather and less bugs.
Take extra care when your riding, have lossed two friends to bike accidents in the passed year and another had to have his left leg removed. None of these men did anything wrong. Just cagers not paying attention to what they are doing. By the way I'm retiring from the Houston Fire Dept. after 35 years so I have seen way to many bikers go down. Picked up a GSXR rider this past Saturday on Westhemeier near Hwy 6, he was lucky broken leg and arm. Scott thanks for the great site, hope to meet soon, ride safe! Donnie in Katy |

Welcome aboard Donnie. Glad to have you here, and look forward to seeing you on an upcoming ride or at a bike night.
Has anyone else noticed all the new FJRs coming on board lately? I'll have to take a look at one in person and see what all the fuss is about.

Glad to see another HFD member. I work out at IAH 54's on the C shift. I have been around this site for about a year now and let me say that you will not meet a nicer group or riders. See ya around. Kelly |

/Waves! Good to see you post here. PS Most don't know that Donnie was kind enough to break-in my '05 FJR (one of his triplets) before he let me adopt it  Edited: Donnie, I'm planning on attending the 9/25 Group ride. Maybe we can all head up together and have a triplet reunion.
