Dear LEOs,

Is there a number/code for a stolen vehicle? Specifically a motorcycle?

i.e We have a 12-32 in progress (burglary)

Just curious for my personalized plates.

Keep in mind some agencies use different numbering systems, but the "almost" universal code for a stolen auto/motorcycle, etc is 10-88. Now, let's see if TxDOT will let you get that one..........

1088 is not currently listed as being registered to anyone/anything.

How about 27-28?

10-27 in many states is check for wants/warrants and 10-28 is check registration.

Or 10-29... check for stolen?

FYI: I am always polite and cooperative, I got out of my last experience with DPS, probably not because of my good looks.

Nope. In my earlier days It was not uncommon for me to put several people at a time in my back seat. At some of the problem areas we had I would cuff people together until I ran out of metal cuffs and then break out the zip-ties. I know for a fact you can get 6 prisoners in the back seat of a late 1980's Crown Vic.
