Which road??? I'll give a couple hints... if you're thinking interstate, then think smaller. And this shot was taken in the late afternoon.

Re: Where am I?

Is it the same one El Guero took these pics at?
I still don't know where the heck it is, but the sign looks the same.

Re: Where am I?

I don't think so. The brick work looks different and there was no pull out area any where near this sign.

Re: Where am I?

I've no idea where it is but dang Bill, I love those "vintage" bikes your buddies have. They look so pristine, I thought it was a really old pic until I saw the Warrior.

Once someone guesses it, I'll have to post up a before and after pic of the KZ. My buddy Gary did a 100% restoration on it after rescuing it from a field.

I don't have a clue. The angle of the sun against the trees makes me think your driving easterly, (the sun looks higher opposite the direction the bikes are facing), but that is far to green for west texas, I think.

I am searchin the map right now for a North East Texas road that crosses the state line into either LA, OK, or AR. One that would have you making your way west (towards Dallas) but just happens to allow for the sun to set behind you because of a curve in this spot.

Your hints stink by the way

Just a WAG, 1310 near the Lake Texoma Dam Site northwest of Dennison.

You're getting close. And I will admit that the shadows are a bit deceiving since the trees are blocking most of the sun. So one more hint... we were heading due south when we found this, and I don't think you went far enough NE just yet.

So close, but still too far West. But your options are getting quite a bit smaller now.

And yes, I was traveling for work this morning then landed and got thrust right into the thick of things. So this is the first break I've really got since 5 AM today. Just think... my first break and I thought of you all!!!!

Re: Where am I?

Farther east is US 71, then, between Ogden, Arkansas, and Texarkana, USA.
