Re: Where am I? (Can you place this picture...?)

A valiant effort. Some wonderful dirt roads down there. Unfortunatley I'm usually on a larger bike when I'm passing through.

Paging Richard.

Re: Where am I? (Can you place this picture...?)

OK Since nobody knows I'll spill it. This is Rim Rock Rd off of 2631 before you get to Bullhead Road. At the time we were working off of Yahoo maps and they had it labeled as Old Leakey Rd. We wanted to see if it went through to Leakey. There is a large metal gate to a scout camp, girl scouts IIRC, but luck would have it there was a county maintenance truck parked at the gate so we asked and sure enough, it's a public road. It goes about a mile across a creek and along this bluff before it ends at a locked gate. Someone bought a chunk of land in the middle of Old Leaky Rd. and got the middle section turned private. Oh well, it happens.

Since Desert Skies was lobbing hand grenades all around it I'll give the ball to him, if he wants it. I can dig up something else if I need to but I'm running out of unused photos. 3 trips planned for October so I'll reload my photo bucket.

Re: Where am I? (Can you place this picture...?)

Was nothing more than lobbing grenades, alot of those roads out there look alike.

OK, Here is one I dug up. Where is this eatery?

Dang it. I've been there and it was closed. Just can't remember where.

Let me lob a hand grenade at the Hill Country area, Boerne?

C-mon, can't believe no one else has taken a crack at this.

I know a lot of riders pass this place.
