Now that I'd like to see. It'd give Kawasaki something to compete with the B-King that wouldn't look like something out of the Transformers movie. And an "S" model would let them compete with the Bandit and the FZ1.

Re: Start praying to the gods of motorcycling...

With a New ZRX1200 out a 1400 bike would be a distant dream...

Re: Start praying to the gods of motorcycling...

Definitely like this updated version, but I'd like to see one without the little fairing and rectangular headlight. When I look for a nekkid bike, I want it all nekkid. And rectangular lights just don't look right to me. They make me think of mid 80's bikes for some reason.

What you're talking about is very nice, but it's not a ZRX.

Sure it is, see:

I really just need to pack up and move to Europe. They like (or at least sell)my style of bike a lot better over there.

Euro trash - they're always ruining a good thing.

I know they've made them that way for the Euros for years, but for me that just ruins the styling of the ZRX. That classic 80s superbike look is what it's all about.

Re: Start praying to the gods of motorcycling...

You know, when you put these 2 up against each other, I REALLY like the newer version a lot more. I've been a big fan of the ZRX since I first ran across one, but the updated one just looks a lot sleeker to me. Even with the square headlight and baby fairing (can you tell what my first mods would be if I got one??)

It still needs a Lawson replica - green with white and purple stripes.

I wondered about that at first, too, but I imagine they're attempting to steer away from the whole 'replica' motif with all the updates.

Of course, you could always do it yourself.

BTW, just for the record -- I want this motorcycle.

The older bike you posted is not a Z-Rex.

All you need is the ZR7 bracket, bucket and light. It bolts right onto the ZRX.

Re: Start praying to the gods of motorcycling...

Actually, the dual headlight setup (like the picture below) is what I fell for with the ZRX. I saw one listed on Ebay a couple years back and I didn't realize at the time that the dual setup wasn't stock.
