Go ahead and count me in. If work gets nutty, I may need to back out but I'll know a day or two before and can notify the "keepers of the cobbler."

Re: East Texas Farmhouse repast

I am out... Started a new job, and they gave me the graveyard shift for my first week working independent of the other employees who have been training me. I don't think you guys will still be there if I showed up about 12:30 AM on the 9th?

Re: East Texas Farmhouse repast

Skip, we ought to be able to make a ride of this one. FM 1252 west to 16 through Lindale to Hwy 110 and in to Van.If we leave here at 5 we'll have plenty of time.

In that case, toss in FM1253 to FM1805 before hitting 110... I'm just saying. 5 more miles and 23 additional curves - your call.

Re: East Texas Farmhouse repast

When I ordered the cobbler for Dave, I told them to expect about 10-15 people.

If more people sign up I will call and change the count.

I'm in. I may be able to bring along my son and his buddy Daniel (who rode with us to Kilgore 2 months back)

Jay--do you have a place/time in mind for the Tyler group to meet up?

Re: East Texas Farmhouse repast

Wednesday!!

Wednesday is also known as hump day and of course means that we should all hump it to Van on Wednesday to see what Elly keeps raving about. Wednesday being the third day of the week seems like such an unusual day for a meet and greet. However, the world famous Dave Terre is coming in that particular day...two days before Friday....also know as Wed - nes - day and we have to see him.

Oh yeah, everybody out there in TWT land don't forget that this event is on Wednesday!!

I'll count on hooking up with you guys at the intersection of FM 1252/FM 757 as you turn right and head north to FM 16. I would guess the rendezvous time to be 5:15 / 5:20ish, right?

Don't plan around me... I may have to help Cobbler Boy cobble on a new shoe before we head that way. You're on your own unless something changes.
