Re: Texas Tag-O-Rama!

? The picture was on PhotoBucket (obvious by the link) - a photo hosting site.

You would never be able to link directly to someone's phone.

the picture was on photobucket.com, a website that host pictures on-line, not on my phone. the picture was posted in link form in here due to technical issues out here, but it was a legitimate tag.

you two buddies are upset because I threw a big wrench in the middle of your game of keep away.

I dont understand what you just said about keeping away this game is for everyone that wants to ride and play thats all no hard feelings with me, if I get the next tag ....would you be upset? "I certainly hope not" this game is desinged to get out and see our great state of Texas nothing else. I certainly ride alot myself not only in Texas but from east to west coast so just riding in Texas is great but i dont limit myself just to Texas so for you to say and assume something that is not true is not very well taken but its OK just get out and ride whenever you get a desire to do so...later gator

Re: Texas Tag-O-Rama!

OK...EVERYONE will take a deep breath and have fun with this. I meant it as a fun way for folks to get out and see the state, either by riding and getting the tags or by looking at the various pics folks are getting. Let's keep it civil.

Yeah, but it's worth it to go see if you have not seen it in a long time. They are just about done with a major renovation of the courthouse, and it looks great. Reminds me of an old castle.

BTW: Whoever goes up to tag this should make sure to visit the old Jordon Drugstore across the street. They have a soda fountain that makes good old fashion chocolate sodas. Yum yum. Oh - they close the soda fountain at 2:00 so get an early start to get there before they close.

Re: Texas Tag-O-Rama!

I've got a parade with the jeep Sunday and then lunch with the parental-units so I can't run up to grab that one tomorrow. Yeah, it's not that far.

Re: Texas Tag-O-Rama!

My two cents. I thank Leon for going to get a tag, that for the most sat in far north texas for a very long time not being gotten, we down here ride mostly every day rain or shine and if it would of been in south or central texas through the winter it would of been tagged several times, so now that it is here lets ride.

OK, Beemer. You made me feel guilty. The SO and I did about 250 mile roundtrip today to get the picture

And I went across the road and got a vanilla malt.

Here is a pic of an old train depot. Got this on the way home.

I have a picture also of the historical marker that goes with it. The community this depot is in is formally known as Trinidad.

That was the MOST important part of the tag. A chocolate soda woulda been better, but each to their own I supoz. Glad you got a chance to visit the old drug store. Not very many of the old soda fountions left.
