I'll be there, probably not until closer to noon though. "The Bruce" is dropping something off for me. Hopefully.

"The Bruce" aka: Bruce, formally known as CBAT on the board before the screen name change.

Scouting for Christmas trees no doubt.

Yeah, would be better if it wasn't 20 degrees under the average here... 31 again this morning. The locals here are badly fed up with winter.

Re: Thursday Austin Lunch M&G - Billy's - 11:30

Hey, this is a lunch thread. Well big J, I did the 310 to 315 route today. Almost turned right at hwy 16 and went to Llano but instead turned left to F-burg and home. Still a good 300 mile ride. I thought you would have liked to have been there. But it was a fleeting thought - your mornings start in the 30's, ours are now in the 70's. Never been to Oregon, but I am sure you're riding close to Heaven right now. Sam
P.S. Should we start a "Where's Justin riding today" thread?

Hey, the locals here are badly fed up with summer already! Is it October yet?
By the way, you need to change you address. Unless there is an Austin in Oregon.

Ok OK!! Address changed to here:

(Yes it's cheating, I took it in July of 2009. Lots more snow on those hills right now....)

Looks like a great place to ride DS!! You will have to arrange for some of us Austinites to come over and ride a few trails with you!! Hope the move is working out for you.

That's a GREAT IDEA Gary, we shall change this from "Lunch at Billy's" to "Lunch at Justin's". Just to make it easy on Justin, everyone bring a dessert!!
I wonder if we could get, oh, say 500 TWT'ers to Bend Oregon for lunch at Justin's? If not lunch, how 'bout a pie run? Would that be closer for Texas T? Sam

Give me 6 weeks to scope the trails and let the snow melt on the high country.

Well, getting back on track...(sorry Justin, it's going to hit 100 degrees today and high humidity so no more talk of cold weather)...I'm in for tomorrow. I need to get Bruce's Air Hawk back to him.
