Compare that to discount places like GPS City which sells it for $559.95, the GPS Store at $549.99, the GPS Place for $577.49, etc.

A rider on the COG site has cautioned that this unit is not waterproof like most Garmin units and does not recommend it for motorcycles. I'm glad he spoke up because that would have been the intended use. But if anyone is looking for an automotive unit this still appears to be a good choice.
