Exclamation New Craigslist Scam - Trojan Horse

Today I received this in response to my Craigslist ad fom my wife's BV500 Scooter:

From Clarissa Stephenson:

Hi,

saw the AD you posted on craigslist and I'm very interested in purchasing
your motorcycle. Firstly I want to make sure its the same model that my
son is after. It's his birthday coming up and I want to make it a surprise for
him. I'm a single mom and obviously know nothing about scooters or
motorcycles (lol). Anyways here is a video link that I copied from my son's
computer udwon[.]com . Can you please confirm its the same type and
reply to me ASAP. I'm willing to pay couple hundred more then what youre
asking for as long the motorcycle matches the video description and you
can reserve it for me.

Cheers!

Tina.

I immediately got suspicious when I saw the "I'll pay more than you are asking" part. I checked out the site and it's nothing but a fake video that looks like it's loading. The site then tells you to download a file to watch the video. This is an easy way to get a Trojan Horse or a virus. I replied to the woman that I wasn't interested and wasn't watching the video only to find out her email at Gmail had been deleted.

Keep an eye out because this one sounded almost legit and may catch some people who aren't paying attention. There wasn't even any bad Engrish.

You actually replied?? Why?

Seriously; unless you put your actual email addy on Craigslist (invitation for spam) - by replying to a questionable source you are just asking for more of the same = spam as you confirm that the email address is "good"... as they originally emailed you at the temp email generated by Craigslist...
