so in planning for my trip i stumbled across this collection of 149 waypoints of mountain passes in Colorado. Thought i'd share it as i think its pretty cool and a good start to route planning once you get in the area. Gaspipe on ADV posted it.

Open it up in mapsource and oooh and ahhh. :rider:

This is awesome. We did quite a few of those mountain passes last week. What a wonderful place to ride. Now I'll have to set a goal to do every one on this list :)

Cool, I'll be in the Salida area in late September, may have to check out a couple of those in the area. Thanks for the links!
 
it also includes paved passes. you could just as easily plan a paved pass route with it as an unpaved one. its not all of them, just a good chunk.
