March 10 and 11th Texas Hill Country 500
Me and 2 other buddies are riding a 500 mile loop through the Texas Hill Country starting March 10, 2012. We will start at 7:30AM and meet at the Stage Coach gas station located a few miles east of Fredericksburg on HWY 290. We will travel to Junction mainly on dirt roads and should arrive in Junction around 1:00 depending on the pace. From Junction we will head south to Barksdale and camp at the Ledgwater camp ground 9 miles north of Barksdale on the Nueces River. On Sunday will travel back to Fredericksburg to complete the loop. Two of us will be riding KLR 650's and 1 of us will be riding a 1200 GS. We plan on spending 2 solid days on our bikes. please email me at cadeemerson32@gmail.com for full details.

This looked like fun and the stars aligned at home for me to get the weekend off and associated kitchen pass. I was about to contact you all but unfortunatly it looks like the weather's not going to hold up to well. Dang!!!

As of now we are still going. If it looks like we run into a shower or two we can manage that. It would be nice to have some water crossing with water for once. If it looks like its a were going to be wet all day might have to reschedule.

i just join this forum, but i would like to join you guys for the next time, since i bought my ktm i not find any good places and people to meet and ride , on dirt roads.i'll keep in touch!.Have fun!

Rained to much today and looks bad for the next day and a half. I'm out. Looked like fun wish the weather would have been better.

I'm at least 50/50 on another kitchen pass. I'm off work every other weekend (working this weekend) if my schedule works for you all that would be great but do what you need to do.
