Stolen Trailer

ATTN! Monday nite 3/19 someone stole a bike trailer that was behind the Ol' House Tavern 9905 Camp Bowie W, Fort Worth, TX. It was donated to be raffled off to benefit the kids of The Big Texas Toy run. It is a whiskey barrel mounted on a trailer to be pulled behind a bike. Keep your eyes peeled because sadly it could have been stolen by someone we know! It wasn't stolen from the Chula Chasers, but from the kids! Please email me if anyone hears or sees anything about this trailer eagle203@sbcglobal.net .If it wasn't for the fact this trailer was to benefit the kids it would just be a stolen trailer and not that big a deal but it's for the kids !!

Re: Stolen Trailer

That looks like a one of a kind and unusual trailer. Whoever stole it won't be able to use it unless it is just kept locked in storage. Good luck in getting it back.

Re: Stolen Trailer

Call the local news station. They will be interested the newsworthiness of a theft that hurts a charity, and the uniqueness of the trailer appearance makes for interest to their viewers. It'll get the word out a lot farther. You can probably just give them the story, the police report to corroborate, and a photo. They could do a quick 15sec, "if you've seen this, call police" bit. Worth a shot anyway...

Someone did not sure when or if it will make it on the air... we all know how the news can be

Re: Stolen Trailer

I think you will find it alongside of the road as soon as all the whiskey is gone and if you are luck the culprit will be there beside it passed out.

Re: Stolen Trailer

Man, that sucks. Lots of trailers getting stolen lately. I was at northern tool last week looking at trailers for a conversion and there were broken padlocks lying around. Turns out someone relieved them of them overnight and they didn't even know about it until I pointed it out.

Hope it shows.

Re: Stolen Trailer

The tarrant county auto theft task force contacted me yesterday they believe they have found the trailer. After speaking with those that had it in their possession at the time it was stolen they are hopeful it will be back in our hands by next week. Not much time to get it restored for our Christmas in July party to raffle off but definitely can have it done for December fund raiser and help the kids of The Big Texas Toy Run. THANK YOU to all that spread the word speaking for the Chula Chaser group we do believe this helped in keeping someone from selling the trailer and they have been caught with it. THANK YOU THANK YOU

Re: Stolen Trailer

If it had not been "For" the kids, it would not of been found.

We'll learn and benefit from this, but it's **** when going through it.
