Wow, what an incredible day for this late in June!!! Looks like it's going to be short lived, but even running errands on my lunch break was enjoyable!

Rode in this morning, great ride. At lunch, went home and though how nice it still felt and was real tempted to ride right past my road and keep going.

The sun has even come out to play as far north as Seattle!! Lovely weather and I am on my wing!! Finally remembering how nice it is to ride a bike in dry conditions!! Unfortunately they are predicting rain for the weekend..

I worked from home. Still am. rained here a couple of times. still looks nice outside though. Oh well, I'll ride in tomorrow. Sunday starts the 100s it looks like.

I spent many years of my Army career at Fort Lewis south of Tacoma. I remember spectacular summers. The summer of '81, when I was there for ROTC. Advanced camp was cold and miserable for most of the six weeks I was there. Man, there can be months and months of seemingly never ending dreary drizzle and rain.

Yup, some of my friends who transplanted from here to Seattle were posting on Facebook how nice it is up there and talking about the mysterious orange ball in the sky.

think I did Advance Camp there in 95, some dude had jungle rot foot worst Ive seen, went to Airborne right after and it was like a vacation

would like to make it back and see Olympic National Park
