Sold - KLR650 equipment
I recently sold 2006 KLR650 so I have some parts left over. Make me an offer!
Cogent Dynamics MOAB Adventure shock 1" lowered. Progessive springs. Hi/Flo oil filters 15 of them still unopened, purchased from BikeBandit. Left and right side gaskets, still sealed my bike didn't need them.

Will the shock work on a 2008 klr?

Re: KLR650 equipment
Not sure but I think the older style shock won't work in 2008 or newer.

Re: KLR650 equipment
I put an '08 shock on my '00. No problems, dead fit. I just got an order of 4 oil filters in. Darn! LOL!

Re: KLR650 equipment
Rick @ Cogent told me that the shocks are the same for the Gen 1 and Gen 2 klrs.
The bottom bolt on one of them needs to be a little longer. I think if you put the Gen 1 shock on the Gen2 you have to have a Gen 1 bolt. I have the upgraded suspension on my KLR . It is worth every penny! |

Re: KLR650 equipment
Also if you send the shock back to CoGen they take the 1 inch lowering out and make it stock height.

Re: KLR650 equipment
I still have following left:
CD Moab Adventure shock (I talked to CD and they said it should sell between $400-$500, I'll probably let it go for a bit less than that) Few filters Gaskets Make me an offer. I'll bring the filters and gaskets with me to BBQ at Tricepilot's place.

Re: KLR650 equipment
Don't think the gaskets fit my 08 but I am checking with a friend to see if he wants them for his 06. How much for just filters if he does not want them?

Re: KLR650 equipment
I've sold the rest at $3/unit so that comes to $15, and if you are going to be at the BBQ I'll even hand deliver it!
