Re: Danmoto exhaust
No its not .I was worried that it might be loud and sharp sound .I hate loud
just for the sake of it ..I'm not sure i'd go 800 kls a day touring with it but its not anti social .Its quiter than my aprilia .It does have packing in it unlike their twin pipe can .The link pipe was a bit tight ,it fitted ,just .The rubber on the hanger clamp apparently melts .I binned it.The link pipe is thin walled.THe clamp (both ) are a bit big .Its no work of art but as a second pipe it a bargin .Its too short for the touring type (noise ,looks ) but i'm into "less is more " so i'm happy .,looks and cheap as .

Re: Danmoto exhaust
What sounded good at home on the road sounds LOUD ,VERY LOUD, TOO LOUD for me .I made a baffle ,will see how this goes .
![]() Danmoto sells them but i didnt want to wait .If you order a danmoto get a baffle in the kit as well . In 5th its fine but in an enclosed area 3rd at about 90kph its LOUD .Got that.

Re: Danmoto exhaust
The baffle turned up in record time but was close to useless .The holes in it were so big it did bugger all .Made a sleave with smaller holes ,better but
still LOUD . ![]() Realised at 300mm the cone was too close to my head .Extended it,painted it black .(heat paint )Went to work ,untested .

Re: Danmoto exhaust
It is now after spendind days trying to get it right .
The Danmoto baffle in the intake (as they suggest ) is useless . Actually their baffle is useless as is .It can be fixed though . All the holes in it need to be blocked .Put a sleave on it so it TOTALLY BLOCKED .Pop rivet sleave in place . Then drill out the the blocked end so you can look straight through it . FIT TO THE EXIT , yes EXIT . Pop rivet in place . You can drill a hole at a time around the main exit to tune to taste . ![]() ![]() For only $145 im happy and love the look .
