Crazy Bob’s Toasty Camp out (July 27 & 28)

Time for another pie run camp out.

End of July should prove to be warm enough for us. So let’s get toasted.

This month's Pie Run is in Edom, and Purtis Creek State Park is nearby. So Purtis Creek State Park it is. This is a very nice park with lots of trees for us tree hangers.

Friday July 27th and Saturday July 28th.

So what say you? Who is in? Please say for what nights.

We're out...sort of.

Since it is the busy season and the parks fill up fast, Greeneyes and I already put in our reservation at Purdis SP.

We'll be there for pie and camping, just the wrong address.

You can run, but you can't hide. We will seek you out. Bring your big coffee pot and grill. No rest for you and Green Eyes this time. We will be there with you. :=)

Q says it's time to go camping and I always do what Q says!

I will be there for both nights. Expect me by 11:58PM Friday because we will likely get there via Lubbock or Guam. Q says we'll just jump the gate because that's fun.

??possible answer....seems to make "cents" ...but is highly illogical usage wise.

That's where they ran the water lines & electrical for the RVs.....!huh

Great! We have missed our Name Czar. TreeTop went in hiding when he learned that ButterBar-ex was your stand in. Now perhaps we can get TreeTop to attend for his official renaming ceremony.

Hmm usually we've been within a stone throw of facilities. Although there have been cases where it was way to dangerous to attempt the walk (alcohol induced), thus the world became our bathroom.

Please sign me up to become roasted.

I am open on leave time from dfw. Anyone wanna meet up and ride together? Just pm me so I can put in vaca of needed.

On a side note, trying to talk my brother into buying my 750 since I never ride her anymore. He may join via way of cage to get a taste of the less sane method of travel.

working on the October camp and pie trip and at Palo Duro it is a half to two miles from the generic camping areas to the bathroom/ showers, the basic camp areas (not including the remote hike in area) do have a spigot.

Leon, re: the public consumption, that is why most of us pour into sealable containers. Serves 2 purposes. 1) as long as its on your persons, they need a warrant to confirm your drink is alcoholic. Just don't set it down. 2) as long as they can't pass by and see bottles of wine or beer, they usually don't care so long as we don't cause problems. Think moderation and good times over stumbling and stupid "hey hold my beer and watch this" moments.
