I am interested in a suzuki savage s40. Anyone got one? Any year. Condition is not all that important as long as it runs.

Yeah. They are normally cheap learner bikes. Some people are asking too much. Just have to wait till the right one comes along.

im trying to pick up a savage for a learner/first bike. if i never sell it, im thinking that might be fun to do with my 6 year old in a few years (5+)

They are dead simple, and powerful enough to get up on the freeway and ride. The seat, for me, was absolutely terrible. But that can be said about many seats. Hope you find the one you want. I have some regular (non-sissy bar) fender rails for one if you need them.

I saw one a few weeks ago at the House of Kawasaki in Oklahoma City for $1,900, not sure what year. I have been looking at them but my wife isn't quite ready to make the jump yet.
