Well, Rod. I'm due for another closet cleaning myself. And don't you still have another trailer load of Roland's racerboy exotica? Maybe you can do an inventory sheet as post one and keep updating it? I hate dealing with selling stuff and Rod is the kinda fella you can give an uncounted bag of money to and be sure it'll all be there when ya get back. That's worth a lot.

Folks , Rod has a Library of Congress sized repository of the itty bitty paved goat-paths of Texas roads (and beyond). It's a hoot to spend a day mindlessly dithering around backroads you never knew were there. I don't take a backseat to many when it comes to Texas roads, but he can get me lost...... in my own county. 3 turns outta the parking lot and you better have a tracking feature on your GPS or brought a whole lot of bread crumbs. He rides at a good pace, moderates the pace to suit his audience, and always leaves you smiling. Lost...... but smiling.

Rod has also sold ten's of thousands of dollars worth of bikes, leathers, or parts we locals thought might fit something we once owned or we thought we might own in the future. Heck , a fella called Rod a while back to get him to sell his Ferrari!

Rod will be leading a ride or three at the Rolls the Bones III Rally in Hamilton October 26-28. Come check us out and meet Rod, too.

Butler maps are great. I used them for our recent trip to Utah and they were spot on. When Butler says it's a Gold 1, it has scenery, curves and elevation changes, all in abundance.

And yes, Rod is your man for knowing the roads of Texas like no other. The guy has a amazing sense of roads and roads no one else knows about.

Looks like I'll be headin south next Saturday the 12th. Gonna meet up with Carl (WhiskeySmith) Mark (GravelGuy) & Mike (o_matic) at Lone Star BMW/Triumph to deliver some of my new Tye Dyed Texas stickers & a few maps. Anyone else wanna join in??? We'll prob head somewhere for lunch while Carl's bike is gettin it's service. Ongoing discussion of eatin joints as of now....Lookin for input.

I'll be ridin down from Waco if someone from up this way wants to come along.
