I understand the baby thing but, "no time to ride" makes NO sense. Many folks give up their bike when a baby enters the picture, each to his own. But there is ALWAYS time to ride; even if it's only a 30-minute jaunt late in the evening. When Jamy was young, I used to take the bike out after bedtime for 45-60 minutes a coupl'a times a week. When she got older, it was a bit easier to take off down the highway for some "me time" on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Plus, I'm a fair weather rider. My bike hasn't seen the road but 3-5 times a month this summer. But, I couldn't say that I didn't have time to ride. I just didn't wanna in the heat. (sort of like i didn't wanna commit to exercise)

Re: 2006 Ducati Multistrada S1000 DS
this is a fine bike.....I don't know much about Ducati pricing, but full Ohlins suspension alone was probably a couple of grand ? I wager it is an absolute hoot to ride. GLWS.

A lot of times "no time to ride" means either "I scared myself on my liter bike when I have zero experience" or "My wife is making me sell".

Have you had the tank replaced (under the class action suit)? Does this have the infamous loose valve guides (frequent issue with the 03-06 models)?
