User signatures
Warning: Random thoughts from the Internet.
User signatures, I noticed one user here had listed "my garage, bike, bike, car, etc" And I thought..... We all have different interest and many like to tinker or do the own work. We see all the time.. "Hey I have a 1998 somethingnotamotorcycle and it need a new shockbatterycharger bearing.. Anyone know how to replace it?" If that vehicle was listed in a users signature, perhaps other like minded vehicle owners would already know another forum user that had the same vehicle.. And that user might know one more, and so on. Nothing wrong with posting the help question.... Just thinking the vehicles in sig thing might work to help folks find like minded owners. Yes I have had three cups of coffee since 0430.

Re: User signatures
Well i was completely bored, sitting in a briefing I had no interest in and had to sit there anyway.. So basically, coffee and boredom on par with suicidal ideations.

Re: User signatures
Somebody call Planters, I found some nuts!
I do like the bikes in the sig (obviously), I agree it makes it easy to see whether somebody knows what they're talking about because they own (or owned) the bike in question, or if they're just spouting off what they've heard.

Re: User signatures
Maybe if I put '92 Olds Achieva in my sig someone could tell me where the EGR valve is--it's acting like a bad valve but I don't see anything that looks like an EGR valve under the hood.
Doesn't really matter, I haven't driven it but once in the past month or so.

Most of the V6's from that era hid them in the valley under the intake. If memory serves... never owned one, but worked on plenty!

Re: User signatures
Was wondering when someone would come along and make this wrong assumption.. congrats, you win.
A text signature here is No different then pictures on photobucket, face book or a garage forum feature.. No different then the picture section of this forum.. No different then posting pictures or texts in posts on this forum. It's all information publicly available.
