Anyone Recognize This Track?
Was flying back from Japan via Detroit and saw this track as we were about a half hour out from San Antonio...
![]() Anyone recognize it? Is it Circuit of the Americas? ![]() From the GoogleEarth image of CotA it appears to be the place (rotate my pic 90° to the right), but the GoogleEarth image is dated and doesn't show any of the track... Cheers! M2

Right off the end of runway 17L at Austin. See it all the time. Should be operational in a few weeks according to the local intel.

Can't be. It is never going to happen, I read it on the interwebs.

Re: Anyone Recognize This Track?
We are training out there Wednesday and Thursday. We'll get to see the track layout and then preplan emergency response access (on our motors) to the surrounding community since traffic is going to blow.

Re: Anyone Recognize This Track?
Is your company hiring? I could do that kind of work for a few of months.

Re: Anyone Recognize This Track?
We're always hiring, but we hire only full time employees and F1 will be an extra duty assignment. We won't have anyone that works the track exclusively.
