Headed to the Hill Country Oct 27
"Headed out Oct 27, 2012"
Since I haven't riden much since I've returned to Texas (been too hot for me) and sorry this is a little bit of a short notice but I am headed to the Hill country (west of Austin) on Monday Oct 8 for a few days. If anyone wants to join, I will be headed out from Livingston, Tx and head west to Austin. I can detour north or south to meet up, I just want to and am going for a ride. I will be on a R1200GSA, so street and/or a little dirt is cool with me, I just want to ride  . Post up if you would like to join or have info of what/where to go as this will be a new area for me.

Correction, make that leaving Oct 9, I just realized the Texans are playing on MNF and I ain't going to be on the road for that.

How many days? Where you plan to stay? Have you read this: Hill Country Cruising
That would be almost a 400 mile 8hr ride for you to get there. So that's two days, one there and back.

I was planning on 2 to 3 days and camp or hotel it depending on how i feel but I realized that the east texas 450 is next weekend so I'm going to postpone this for a week or so and do some riding research. And I'm only about 4 hours from Austin.

Sorry that it took me a couple of weeks to get back to this but this Saturday 27 Oct I'm headed to the Hill country for 2 or 3 days. I noticed there's a rally in Kerrville so I might head there and stop by and say hello. I noticed a few members headed that way Friday but I'm waiting till most of the rain passes to head out west. I'm still leaving from Livingston Tx if any one wants to join.
