Nicely equipped example. Getting another or getting out of sidecars?

Out of the blue, wife says Saturday "why don't you get a new one?" Now I wonder what she found at the jewelry store?

Got my eye on one at the dealer now. Garage is too small for two rigs so first sell then we buy new.

Always wanted one of those. Not sure what for! Unfortunately no spare room. Beautiful example though.

If you had one, you will find yourself looking for excuses to ride it more. Go get groceries, hardware store, plants, explore forest roads, etc, especially in the hot summers. Just grab the helmet, gloves and go. Would never ride two wheels without all the gear even when 100 degrees out. Experience can be a cruel teacher.

They are just a ball to ride, found I come home less tense with the Ural than I ever did with two wheels. that's why I'm getting a new one.

Ride safe y'all

Re: FS 2005 Ural Patrol Adventure Ready

Some of our readers may not be familiar with the unique capabilities of the Ural Patrol. This from the http://www.IMZ-Ural.com web site:

"Want to get dirty? Looking for a bike that can travel those snow-covered roads like no other? Look no further. In a class by itself, the Patrol is the only motorcycle in the world manufactured with an on-demand sidecar drive. This street legal 2wd all-terrain ready motorcycle gives you the ability to switch between single-wheel drive and the unbelievable traction of dual-wheel drive with the flip of a lever!"

In essence, a street legal ATV. Here is one I spotted on my trip through Montana. The owner and his wife rode it in the snow in the winter.

Hmm. I wonder if the grand-kids would enjoy riding in it?
