TORCS, round 8

At Abbott ranch, anyone going? Weather could be a factor, the place is sandy from what I remember, so a little water could be a good thing. Cool temps are definately a good thing.

I think the dunes in Galveston would be easier! I had a rough time, this old man doesn't do that kind of sand very well.lol

Since I only ride for pure fun and not points anymore, I skipped Abbott for exactly that reason. Have ridden in that area before and for me its just no fun. I am still expecting you to be at the top of the list when the results come out.

Not sure Irish, I left asap! I sure had my problems, started when Marco busted his rips right in front of me. Got him off the trail and situated and had to run down #100, then got buried on a sandy creek climb for 4-5 minutes. That was killer. Caught up with him on 2nd lap and dang-it got stuck on the hill in a different spot.(made it up on 3rd lap, lol) Not near as bad but lost time. Not sure what happened after that!

You have confirmed my decision. Sorry to hear about Marco, that hurts. Also, throw that air filter away, you'll never get all the sand out.
