Sam, a ranch owner off edge falls road, has graciously started letting dirt bikes and quads onto his property for trail and dirt track riding for a small fee. Things are still pretty rough, because they are just getting started, but with some support and patronage this could be a wonderful spot for riders in the San Antonio area.
The ranch has ~500 acres and has a number of two-track and single-track trails. Sam is in the process of marking the trails, right now you just need a good sense of direction. Some of the trails are fairly long, more than ten miles.
Sam has also started work on both a small and large dirt track. Both have jumps (the large track's double is very intimidating -- at least for a new dual-sport rider), banked turns, and the turns have been mostly cleared of rocks.
