I'm wondering if any of you have noticed less back pain from multi-hour rides? If you were on a standard or adventure bike and moved on to a middle or maxi scooter, did the riding position and seat bump help your back?
I had a 13' Yamaha Tenere and rode my son's 13' BMW f700GS quite a bit. I just finished a seven day, four state ride on my new Kymco AK 550. The farthest I took the Tenere was 300 miles or so to the valley, most of my pain was hand position, shoulders and seat, not lower back. The scoot was different pain, mainly legs and knee but manageable. Riding position is still upright with little or no lean in. Every situation is different but for me, scoots let me stay in the saddle longer.
