I went, I ate, I visited, I went home the long way. I didn't take pictures though. Good to see everybody. 340 miles. Day started in the upper 30's and got home in the upper 60's. Nice swing.

260 miles of smiles and lots of friendly faces

Dannyboy will hopefully post up some pics from our ride. Lots of great dirt, some fun mud, and wonderfully packed sand! The roads were just really good today despite the recent rains. There were some rough spots from washouts, but that just added to the fun!

It was nice to see so many folks. I just wish everyone wouldn't eat and run. By the time I managed to eat and get back outside, the majority of the people and bikes were already gone  I like to kick tires and visit after lunch because I don't get to visit with many folks while eating.

Oh, who had that sweet blue Honda Hawk!? Very nice. As was the Vincent... what a sweet sound!

One of my new year's resolution is to attend some pie runs in 2016. I used to go frequently and then quit for some reason. :eat:

Crockett has always been that way, Scott. it is the smaller runs that folks hang around and visit. its the spread out all over parking, Hico is better for visiting.

the spread out parking also makes it hard to count heads.
there was a nice turn out of real (air head) GS's one was even enlisted to recue a dead Honda!

unfortunately a bike with a dead charging system wont go far after a jump start and we saw him on side of road just outside the loop. he had another rider and a car attending to him so we went on.

custom framed Vincent powered cafe with a exhaust system loud enough to make the typical cruiser rider cover their ears in pain.

Yeah, I finally saw someone walking toward that blue hawk and went and talked with them.

It was a nice Pie Run, great to see everyone, and a nice turnout on a beautiful day.

I got a feeling that Vincent is loud! wow, looks great.
