So is it all Northern NM or does it also include some of the stuff further South down around Silver City and Truth or Consequences?

Scott....
All The other maps in the Backcountry series have a route laid out from the northern border of the state to the southern border & I dont see why this NM version would be any different. Im bettn it takes in the area around Silver City too.

Like Rod said this is our BDR map for NM and thus a single dirt route across the state. It starts in Dell City, TX and ends in Antonito, CO.

If you are looking for a collection of roads (paved & dirt) then check out our NM G1 state map.

Thanks, Bill

Wait wait wait..... So this is a map highlighting roads of particular interest to MC riders.

I'm interested in a map that shows dirt roads in Texas, as well as one for Arkansas.

Is that kinda what were talking about here?

The BDR maps are a specific route.

The other maps are more general but still geared towards people looking for good roads.

No idea  Bill?

I haven't seen any maps yet that are totally accurate about which roads are paved and which are not. My Garmin GPS maps are often close, but even they can be wrong fairly often.

Are dirt county roads annotated on the Texas hill country map?
Yes they are. Doesn't show every dirt road of course but there is a bunch. Below is a snippet for your area of interest. Dirt is the dashed lines, red dashed is featured roads and black dashed is other dirt or gravel. Featured meaning scenery and twisty not technical rating of dirt.

Arkansas is in their Ozarks map and has dirt roads identified also.

There are no dirt roads shown on our Ozarks maps unfortunately.
It's the only one to not have dirt roads.

When I went to add those there was not enough room on the map because of the scale.
The dirt roads that would connect thru changed names often and thus the writing on the map would to be too small and a mess.

On THC map the area is much small yet the same size cut map and thus much more room to work with.

I've been admiring these maps for a while. I just ordered the Texas/Ozarks combo. I'm heading to NW Arkansas for my vacation in May.
