I'm absolutely appalled by some of the crap I see when traveling.
I thought Things were going great when the old yamaha had enough and decided to head back home. The abrupt u turn left us in an arguement on the side of the road.
No harm done. It was a good day for an adventure.

I was going to say braver man than I would be, and then you post why I was going to say that.
No, iv picked it up several times on water crossings etc.
I rode for an hour after that but stayed on well traveled roads.

Tim, what roads were you on? I miss Bell Branch Rd, for sure.

That was bee creek at the top near the right hand turn and the big brick house where the shootout occurred a few years back. I was headed to bell branch but never made it.

I haven't found anything down here as nice as those roads yet.
Guessing there might be something similar near Mason or Junction, but those are a haul.

Off of Elm Pass Rd (fun pavement)...jus south of Elm Pass Lp...take Upper Mason Creek...Old School
Pollys Chapel & Privilege Creek....down to 46/at Pipe Creek
Between Tarpley & Utopia on 470...take Seco Creek ...partially paved near Utopia
For more pavement...
Back north from Center Point...take Stoneleigh & McDonald loop then 1341 to Comfort for Skyline Dr & Mill Dam Rd. Hasenwinkle/Centerpoint Rd is a good one heddn north then Bear Creek & Grape Creek over to Old San Antonio Rd
Upper Sisterdale Rd is partially unpaved at 1376
& dont forget to go thru the gate on Acker Rd near Spring Branch....yes its public...see the sign?
