I figured I would post the SPOT tracking map so you can follow along if you like. I will upload a photo or two from the road. I'm not taking a PC so it will depend on how well the Droid works.

Ready to roll. I had the alarm set for 0530, I woke up 0445. Trip anticipation has always been an issue. Things going through my head. Checklist of gear. Pre-ride checks. All done and waiting for the alarm to sound. Then another 25 minutes before meetup. KSU at 0600.

Maybe we will run into you up there this weekend, wife and I will be there Sat., we are cheating though, we are flying there. Is that 3 Connies with you in the picture?

My Son's and I will be headed up that way the following week after Miller on our annual Trippin Connies run, try to leave a little asphalt on those rodes for us.

Great day of racing. Tomorrow we start meandering homeward.

Fun part is over. Getting lunch in Las Vegas, NM. It's been great! Now just need to get through West Texas. From yesterday; head waters of Too Grande.

I saw you and the group Sat. morning, wife and I were getting out of our rental car at the track, looked up and saw your Yamaha and the 3 Connies following you, looked like you cut across the gravel parking lot while the rest stayed on the pavement. Ride safe.

Yep, that was us. When they saw how easy the gravel was to ride on they followed. The people giving directions didn't know what gates were open so we had to wander around a bit to find the right lot.

Well, we made it home about 1700 yesterday. I have tons of video and photos to process and upload so I'll get on a ride report in a new thread as I have time. Nearly 4300 miles in the 8 days of riding with three days at the track for the races. A great trip.
