Thanks. One more and I'm done. From Cloudcroft via 5563 to Sun Spot is paved. Does it turn to gravel at that point enroute to Timberon and eventually turning back East to Pinon?

Paved all the way to Timberon. From Timberon south, dirt.

I had a leaner mix but wanted to use up the old can of 32:1 first. I can't thank you guys enough for showing me some of the trails on the RM250. I go to NM fairly often and will start making the trails in Cloudcroft a regular stop. Someone else had the idea of making an organized rally up there -- count on me to join in.

The road is paved all the way to Timeron

Went to Cloudcroft, rode the bikes, met some new folks, and had a blast.

Here’s a few pictures:

We came across an out of gas cruiser between Artesia and Hope. As you can see from the clouds, it looked like it was about to pour. The couple said they had been there for a while, with no one stopping to help. Tourmiester to the rescue.

Hooked up with Jbay in Cloudcroft and rode some great FS roads, along with some single track.

Next day on the RIM Trail.

The third day we met up with ToeJam at his place and he was kind enough to take us on some great two-track on the Big bikes.

The fourth day it was back to finish up the RIM Trail.

The fifth day it was back to the Big Bikes and some relaxing two-track. After the last 2.5 miles of the RIM Trail we needed a break from single-track…

The last day we met up with Bastrop, O-Matic, and 2turdyL for a mix of single-track and two-track.

Total of six great days of riding and I was spent. This has got to be one of my favorite places to ride and I can’t wait to go back…
