Not a bad riding day. The scooter mafia plus a Harley and a Triumph made a mostly FM road ride up there. Had a good time although wet roads kept our speed down a little in the twistier sections. There were about a dozen bikes there when we arrived. Our group increased it to 15 or 16. A few more arrived after we did but I'm not sure how many. Our ride home was wet road free so nicer and a bit sportier. I shot these two pictures right after we arrived but I forgot to get a picture of my pie. I should have, it was the Butterscotch Pecan and it was very good. Nice way to top off the catfish and hush puppys.

OMG! I had it too. Still suffering, but wasn't it total bliss!!!

Only gained 37 pounds eating it, should be gone in three, maybe three and a half years.

CHILI did her best, watching the bikes, while we chow'd down

Yeah Leon, it was a long ride back, but thanks to Jeff it was not near as long as it would have been had I gone I-35. Thanx Jeff for navagating me through the "DFW Frightmare", I appreciate it! Always good to see familiar faces and make new friends at the pie runs.:sun:

Dave and I had a good ride up and met with OneWolf along the way. We got some sprinkles but nothing more. Heading back it looked like rain along our route so we just slabbed it down 35 back into DFW. All in all a great day and great Pie! It was nice meeting some of you and I look forward to the next one.

Cream Cheese Pecan Pie.

My first pie run....and I ate cake! The waitress recommended it and I was not disappointed. I met a few members and had a great time. Thanks for being so welcoming to the new guy. My wife Alice and I enjoyed the ride from Arlington, just a small rain shower on the way home...not even enough to pull out the rain gear.
