The video isn't the greatest but the trail went Way Way up there, pretty much out of site".

Well, here is my version of events. You can say you heard it from the horse's mouth!!

Fantastic stuff, Izzy and his crew always strike out on great adventures. Also, the interactions and hospitatlity with our neighbors in Mexico is heart warming and really shows how good natured and generous our neigbors are. We need more of that in the world! Thanks for spreading good dual sport will. Good to see Hugo out there too!

Ride on dudes!

Edwin, are you sure it's "Ponce De Leon" and not" Guinea Pig":lol2:

Let's let Edwin try it ! :rider:

Thanks for the great videos.

Usually Izz is the one who goes first down or up an unknown trail. However, for some reason he was not feeling too good that Friday. He got to know many little bushes along the way. He was not the only one suffering some discomfort. Norbert suffered the same condition. So, I became the"guinea pig".

Actually, it is the same (ish) motor that vw bug uses. Air cooled boxer.

Great edit. Good little video. That thing looks like fun, sounds like an old VW.

Sent from my handheld, please ignore the typos!

The road to nowhere!

These are some pictures from the "hill to nowhere". Unfortunately, I am not a camera guru or amateur nonetheless. However; I wish I could take better pictures of this area at this time of the year. I have been coming to these mountains for several years and I have never seen them so green, covered with so many flower

I was way up there and it didn't seem that far up. I should have checked the elevation on my GPS at that point.

The views were far better than the camera can show. Not the camera's fault though.

Apologizing for those pics?

They're amazing.

But being there this year to witness it myself, likely enhances them for me.

I agree, the camera by itself just can't capture how freaking majestic the Chisos were in full bloom.

The main goal of this ride was to check out a hill that we found January 2014 during our Fort Hancock-Ojinaga expedition and that we named Gravity. However, before we reached such hill, there was another hill that we couldn't climb at that time because we were overloaded with gear and did not dare to try our luck. Well, Izz did and failed miserably to say the least. Carrying over 100lbs of gear kind of slow you down! However, this time we were al light as we could be and we tried our luck.

Cleaning out my gear today and found two meal tickets that I thought might have been disposed of by the El Dorado maid. Mea Culpa and all that.

We are approaching Gravity Hill from a different direction. Instead of climbing it, our plan is to hit it from the top. This part of the trail is new to us.

We finally arrived at our planned destination, Gravity Hill. You may wonder why we call it this way. From the bottom looking up it seemed like it would pull you down.
