I had a rare Sunday off so I decided that a long day ride was in order. My wife would join me as would another 7 bikes. It was a great afternoon. We started off at a local Travel America Center off of I-30 in Rockwall Texas. We had decided to ride to Jefferson Texas to enjoy a burger. It was a beautiful day. We almost got in 400 miles and I hit the 4000 mile mark on the Big V. My tires are toast and I got a new pair installed on Monday at the local dealer. Here are all of the pictures from the day. - http://lonestarlobos.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/2015-Day-Rides/Jefferson-Texas-LSR/

Nice way to get in a ride. I do have a question though. The tires wore out in 4000 miles? That's quick. What did you put on to replace them?

The OEM Bridgestones wore out in 2500 on the C-14 so I was lucky to get 4000 out of these. I replaced them with Michelin PR4's we will see how they do.

Thanks for the report... I have wanted to get to Jefferson. But you omitted one detail... where did you get the burger :)
