All packed and ready - Bring on Colorado

Well we had a great time at our family reunion but we are so excited to start the riding part of the trip. Yesterday we rode from Red River NM to Gunnison Colorado. The Rocky Mountains are awesome! We camped in Gunnison last night. Here are a few shots from yesterday. We will play tourists today taking many pictures and exploring small mountain towns. Have a great day everyone.

Another great day of riding. Saw the black canyon and visited Crested Butte. Got a little wet as the skies opened up but did not ruin the day. Tomorrow- another day of great riding. Till then ride safe.

Nice. Last month, KP & I skirted along the north rim of the Black Canyon and enjoyed the squiggly little road. But we didn't stop to visit, except for pulling into a couple of overlooks.

Man the northern side was just awesome Tim. Fantastic views and more curves than a Victoria Secret model.:trust: That is a ride a fellow could cruise everyday and it would never get old. Wonder how the RZ would like that piece of heaven?

Kickstand - both sides are awesome! It's worth the time to get off and hike some.

Walked all over a few years back. Really enjoyed the trails on the other side of the scenic look out. It is hard to tell but the pictures I took are hanging over the edge. I really think the back road is the one to be on if your on a bike. When we went we were driving and did not go around to the back side of the canyon.

Met up with a fellow TWTexan outside of Creede Colorado this morning. I forgot his name but we have a picture. He was a nice guy, heading to Lake City area I believe.
