Did y'all see the Ride Texas newsletter that came out this week? The bi-annual Motorcycle Cannonball is in Texas! These pre-1930 motorcycles started their run in Michigan and will finish in South Padre. They never repeat a route.

I'm planning on seeing them in Victoria on the 24th.

Yep, another thread on it here. I live in Victoria and plan on seeing them here also. bwdmax sounded like he was going to try to make it also. Should be interesting.

Plans for altered, but I'm still going. I'll be riding up and back on Thursday from Cypress. No firm route or plan, but I'm open to company if anyone is interested.

Okay Friday will be here before you know it. The Cannonball will be at Victoria mall from 4:00-6:00. @Manfred and @AllByteNoBark y’all want to meet up before and go over there or just show up there?

Anybody else planning to be at the Victoria stop?

I am open to either approach. Will watch here to see what @Manfred would like to do. What is your preference @bwdmax ? Anyone else coming to Victoria to see them?

My plan to ride some back roads to Victoria; leaving home around 1300 hours, arriving at the mall about 90 minutes later. That will leave some time to meet and greet some folks.

I’ll probably get there about 3:30 or so. There isn’t a really exciting way to get to the mall so I’m good just meeting there, but I’m open to just about anything.

I got home ay 7 PM. Ride home not near as fun as the ride there. The two oldest bikes were 1911 models by Norton and Harley. Here's the Norton.

Neither John or I saw it. I left about quarter after 5. It may have come after that or it may have dropped out. I don't know.

Really cool to see all the old iron. The best part for me was at the end I walked through the pits and managed to get my hands on a couple bikes. I helped check valves and basic checks to be ready for tomorrow. I helped with a Henderson and an Indian.
