The weather was nice again, so we did a repeat ride of last weekend. We ended up in northeast Ector County at Ye Olde Buckhorn.
There were close to 100 bikes while we were there:
This is the Buckhorn's cat. He's frisky:
This is the Buckhorn's dog. He's tired:
Man, you hate to see this, but it is an unfortunate part of the motorcycle culture in West Texas. I wish they had been root beer bottles instead:
We investigated this fire "on the way" home. I put that phrase in quotations because we actually had to go long out of our way to find it. We could see this fire from Goldsmith. We tracked it down to southern Ector County, south of Odessa. I have no idea what was burning, but the smoke would alternate from white to black, then back to white again repeatedly. It burned all day:
It was another laid back, enjoyable day. We didn't do anything out of the ordinary, but as many of you know, just being on a motorcycle is a special occasion in and of itself.
Peace. Everyone have a great week.
