On Saturday May 16, the Austin RATs took a day trip to the BMOA Rally in New Ulm. Six Triumphs and two Harleys left The Cafe 290 in Manor headed to New Ulm, with a stop in La Grange for BBQ.
Here's the route we took:
Prause's was a good call. If you've never been, I recommend it. It's basically a butcher shop that happens to smoke some of the best brisket I've had in a long time.
Here's a look at the outside:
The meat counter:
People enjoying good BBQ
We arrived in New Ulm around 12:30 and parked under the pavillion.
There were a couple of nice bikes that I had never seen before.
Ariel Square Four:
Nice looking BSA
This was described by someone in the group as a "Smart Car with a Motorcycle Attached." I kinda liked it.
Room for Wife and dogs
The ride home was wet, but uneventful. Looking forward to the next ride.
