I suppose this is a dual sport ride report, nothing beats coming out a gravel road and hitting the twisties;
from Townsend, TN I rented a KLR and went to Cades Cove, to Parsons Branch and popped out on the Dragon, US 129, and back on the Foothills Parkway
everything is out of focus until I turned the Auto focus back on, but still kinda of cool
she is just happy not to drive the whole way; the Blue Ridge is fun to drive, even in the CRV
grandpa cheats at cards ; I had a hand of 4 aces and won all the sweet and low packets
the KLR was nice, I was surprised how small it felt; I got there the 2nd day after the Dragon reopened
