Took advantage of the sunny Saturday and changed the oil on my GS.

Of course then I needed a ride. :rider:

Found this on FM933 headed towards Whitney.

Then the Whitney Dam. A local told me it's been a while since all the gates were opened.

One off the parks I visited last year (during the drought) was closed due to high water.

A creek along FM927 before you get to Walnut Srpings.

And the largest field of Bluebonnets I've seen in a long time. Had to be 80-10 acres.

A nice view along FM1238.

I stopped at Meridian State Park. They wanted to charge me $5 to take a picture of the lake. So I snapped one of the sign instead.

About 200 mile with a turkey sandwich at Bunkhouse BBQ in Clifton.

A nice ride.

You sure had an awesome day yesterday!

Thanks for the ride-along...

.

I crossed the Brazos and Navasota rivers yesterday on the West side of Navasota. Both rivers were the highest I've ever seen them and were out of the banks in some places. That last storm system dumped a LOT of rain!
