Looks like it's the mighty DR650 for the win! 🤣🤣🤣🍻🍻

Lots and lots of slippery mud day #1 with some deep water, some water ingress into the DR650 air boxes, one had a little too much in the filter and was problematic for a minute...
A few spills, one multiple participant on day #2 which is the main reason people left, too sore to keep going, and one flat.

Well worth the trip if you can swing it!

Four bikes did not finish?!

The weather was pretty nuts. There was flooding all West of Elkhart/Crockett.
 
This ET two day route is extremely challenging because you do not know what you are going to get on the route. It goes from super muddy to super sandy quickly. If you catch it just right between those two states, it is super easy, usually while folks are at work. Another challenge is since it is close to Houston and DFW, you can easily quit and ride blacktop back home. I enjoyed the pictures and it is what I would expect after these rains. Give it a week and it will be super sandy. :-)
