While reviewing my route for future ride, I spotted on the map a BBQ joint I'd never heard of. It's pretty close to Seguin - south 10 or miles. This Friday, I plan to meet up with a friend in Nixon and check it out.
 
1117 Smokehouse is a hidden treasure. I had lean brisket, fried okra, and coleslaw - less than $14. Food was gone before I could grab my phone to take a picture. Gonna go back with my wife.
