:tab The Bandit section has pulled in people from all over the world: Japan, South Africa, many places in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Mexico and others. It is not unusual to have at least one or two new people PER DAY register because of the Bandit section. I guess what I don't get is why here? Not that I am complaining, but are the Bandit specific forums lame or something? :scratch: Just curious :shrug:

I dont think it is all to do with the other threads being lame, But I am just speaking for myself, as I am also a member of Max-Zuk and wasnt aware of this site till some threads were refrenced on there and came to check it out, and liked it alot, especially this being a Texas:rider: based forum. I just like to be able to reference the most info I can on my 1250.
 
Tourmeister, yes, most other Bandit sites are LAME or unfrequently visited. I have enjoyed this site for almost a year and a half now. Good coversation, acid sarcasm, sound technical advice, and overall great folks. The volume of posts is very good. I will not visit a site more than once that has the latest post as over a week old. BORING!!!! This site ROCKS! :rider:

This is my first Bandit and I have found this bike has a following darn that of a Harley...........just with a lot less clothing for sale. Dale Walker seems to spend a lot of time and money on making Bandit specific wallet thinning products and he says it's a good money maker for him.

I guess it's just a great all around bike - not an expert at anything - but a great performer in every catagory (expect dirt) once you modify it a bit.:rider:

Scott,

Many of the people you have here also visit maximum-suzuki.com forum which is a very good bandit specific forum, especially for the 1st and 2nd gen bandit models and Katanas too. Its the first place I go to solve mechanical-related issues and get advise on performance modifications for those bikes. Dale Walker, aka da bandit guru, frequents that site daily. Also, there are numerous others who have in depth knowledge of the oil/air cooled motors. I've been visiting/posting there since 2001.

I'm here for the fine Texas hospitality and to meet local riders who own a variety of bikes. To me, that's what makes this place special.
